Buildings:
The short version: Seasonal lights are approximately $8 a linear foot for the materials and the installation. Permanent lights are approximately $28 a linear foot for materials and installation.

Our prices are based on height, difficulty, access, and other factors. A simple approximation is $2.50 per linear foot of roofline for install cost.
*On rare occasions a request requires unique equipment, techniques or labor requirements and may involve an appropriate additional charge where it works out to more than this average. We will always be up front about such charges during the estimate process.
Materials:
The lights we supply are professional grade. As such they cost a bit more up front than store-bought lights, but in the long run are cheaper. The building lights we use are individual bulbs with custom cut strands. So you can do any color combination that you wish and the lights will be custom fit to your house. If you ever move, they can be custom retro-fit to a new roofline too!
We warranty our lights for 3 years as long as we take them down between seasons (summer weather does not agree with Christmas lights!) Our lights as a whole last several more years than this. After year 3, we typically only replace a few bulbs per year for a few dollars a piece. Our lights are much much cheaper than continuously replacing dull or broken strands each year.

Trees
Tree installation is unique to every tree. The cost varies greatly based on the size, type, density, location, obstructions, lights chosen, equipment access and a number of other factors. Because of this, we estimate trees on an individual basis.
Labour:
An average tree costs $500-$900 in labor and boom lift costs. Smaller trees that require no lift will be significantly less and some of the largest trees or those with complications or special wraps would be more.
Materials:
Most people and installers use the wrong kinds of lights on trees. Trees move in the wind (unlike buildings – hopefully). There is also a lot less moisture protection in a tree compared to under soffit. Store bought lights often have removable bulbs, poor quality copper wire, and standard plugs. Our tree lights are sealed from the elements at the bulb and at the plug – they actually screw together with weather resistant grommets. The wire is much stronger too – meaning there is much less breakage and burnout in your tree!

Light Removal & Storage
Removal at end of season is 26% of installation cost.
